What are your business hours?

You can shop on the Ugoburo.ca website any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

Our administrative offices are open between 9:30 am and 6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, except for legal holidays.

Do you have a showroom or store where I can see and try out your products?

Ugoburo's office furniture store is available 24/7 days a week online and has a showroom located at 10 minutes from downtown Montreal in Brossard (south shore of Montreal) from 9h30 am to 6 pm EST from Monday to Friday. We also now have a showroom located in Laval, available on Wednesdays by appointment only from 9:30 am to 5 pm EST. That is how we aim to offer you such great service and prices! Do your products require assembly?

Most of our products are delivered already assembled or require very little assembly. You can check with one of our advisors before placing your order. For any merchandise requiring assembly, the instructions are included in the box. Installation service is also available in some areas. If that option is available, it will be indicated in your shopping cart. For more information about installation service, please refer to our delivery policy.

Are colour samples available?

Yes! It’s very easy to order free color samples for our products. Simply complete our online color sample order form. We’ll send them to you free of charge without delay.

How accurate are the product colors shown on your site?

We make every effort to ensure that our online colors are as representative as possible of each product’s actual color and finish. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy and quality of the images, photos, illustrations, finishes, textures, and colors for the products shown on our website. Each user’s monitor or screen projects a unique image depending on its age, configuration, resolution, etc. If color accuracy is important to you, please order a free color sample.

Are discounts available for major orders?

Are you ordering large quantities of office furniture? Do you buy a substantial volume over the course of the year? That’s great! We offer additional discounts in those cases. You’ll also save on delivery costs! How can I pay for my purchases?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, bank transfers, checks or 4 installments with Afterpay up to $2000 (approbation required) if you need more flexibility.

How can I place an order for a government or public sector agency?

We accept orders from schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, clinics, and any other government or public sector body or institution. To place an order, please use your purchase order number during the purchase process. One of our advisors will contact you to confirm your information.

Is it safe to shop online?

We use encrypted SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) communications to protect all your confidential information. Certification for our site is assured by Entrust® EV.  To find out more about transaction security and data protection, please refer to Ugoburo’s privacy policy.

When will I be billed?

You will be emailed an automatic order confirmation soon after you place your order. Please take a few seconds to read it and make sure all the information is accurate. It is very important to notify us if you don’t receive the confirmation email within 24 hours after you place your online order. The amount of your purchase will be charged approximately 24 to 48 hours after you place your order.

Which taxes will be charged?

The applicable sales taxes depending on the province of your delivery address. Details of any taxes (Goods and Services Tax, Harmonized Sales Tax, and provincial sales tax) that apply to your order will be indicated in your order summary before you submit your payment.

How do I order for a tax-exempt institution?

Delivery – Warranty – Returns

Can I cancel my order?

We understand that your plans may change, however canceling an order will incur a credit card processing fee of 5% of the total value of payment received for the order in question. If the order is already in delivery, it will be necessary at this time to change the request for a return request rather than an order cancellation. Orders for ergonomic accessories and orders placed with a purchase order or any item purchased from the quick ship program cannot be canceled.

Do I have to pay for delivery?

Many of our products can be shipped in Canada free of charge! Those items are identified as “free shipping” on the product description page. In all other cases, we offer you the least expensive delivery method. To avoid surprises, the shipping costs are calculated automatically in your shopping cart based on your postal code. You'll know the applicable delivery cost before you proceed with your payment. To find out more about delivery charges, please refer to our delivery policy.

Which delivery services are available?

The type of delivery service depends on your order contents and delivery address. Our products are delivered by standard shipping companies (UPS, FedEx, etc.) or, if you choose our White Glove delivery service, by the Ugoburo team. Can you install my furniture for me?

Installation services are available in Ontario and Quebec. If the installation option is available, it will be shown in your shopping cart before you make the payment. If the installation option is not shown but you would like to have your merchandise installed, please contact us. Our advisors will determine whether installers can be sent and will confirm the related costs. To find out more about installation services, please refer to our delivery policy.

What should I do if I receive damaged goods?

Rest assured that we take those situations very seriously. Please refer to our delivery policy for the procedure if you receive damaged merchandise.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Ugoburo offers a limited warranty on all merchandise we sell online. Please refer to our warranty policy for complete details. Can I return my order?

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return the merchandise within 30 days of delivery for a refund or replacement. Certain exceptions apply. Please refer to our return policy  for the terms and conditions and the procedure.

Do you guarantee the color of the product ordered?

Some of our products are made from natural materials (leather, wood veneer, etc.). Exposure to light, heat, cold, or humidity and/or the natural aging of certain natural materials may affect the appearance and/or performance of individual products or their components. Our manufacturers choose only the best materials to ensure a high-quality finished product. Nevertheless, marks, scars, or scratches are always possible. Products made from natural materials are therefore not covered by the Ugoburo warranty.

The Ugoburo website is optimized for viewing on computers running the most widely used browsers: Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome for Windows and Mac OS X. The optimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels or higher. You can use your mobile device (iPad, iPhone, Android, or any other product) to shop conveniently on our site. However, navigation has not been optimized for mobile devices.
