Solid, high quality, nice looking. Controls and motor braking could be better

I have a standing desk at work and purchased this desk for my home office. Overall this desk is very sturdy, well-built, and very nice looking. It doesn't look cheap or feel cheap at all. My only slight negative is with the electronic controls and lack of "brake" when stopping (when releasing a button. Unlike my desk at the office which stops on a dime, this unit continues to move a bit after releasing button, while the motor winds down. It's not the end of the world, but it makes fine adjustments impossible, and is simply less fun to use than other similar standing desks. The other thing is unlike most other standing desks I've used, the display is off/blank, unless you press a button. It also sleeps; if you press a button, there's a slight delay before the unit wakes up and starts moving. It's not a deal breaker (and it possibly saves electricity) but it's slightly annoying. If you only move your desk on occasion, it's ok. If you move it extensively, I would probably consider a unit with a different control pad system and braking on the motors.
